Supporting Our People Through Employee Hardship Grants

March 4, 2024

The EquipmentShare Foundation (ESF) extends heartfelt gratitude to all who have supported our mission in aiding team members facing disasters and hardships. Since establishing the employee hardship fund, we've received numerous requests from team members nationwide and have provided over $34,000 in assistance.

From helping employees who are coping with unexpected illnesses to supporting those overcoming tragic accidents, your contributions are making a significant impact on countless lives. Today, we kindly ask those who haven't yet contributed to consider making a recurring donation. Your support is crucial in allowing us to continue assisting team members in need.

Here are just a few hardship stories to share thus far (please note, some of the information about the individuals is purposely kept confidential):

  • A shop technician in Columbia, MO, was the first to reach out to the foundation for help after learning his wife needed brain surgery. The foundation provided necessary assistance that helped our team member cover medical bills and make up for lost wages while his spouse was unable to work.

  • One of our mechanics, Wyatt, from the Idaho Falls branch, was killed in a car accident on his way to work. He left behind his wife and his young son. The funds will be used to help cover funeral expenses and loss of income.

  • A team member from the Pasadena, TX, branch lost his unborn baby after his wife was admitted to the hospital with a serious infection. To take care of his wife in the hospital following her surgery, he missed several days of work. The foundation provided support to help his family take steps to recover.

  • To escape a domestic violence situation, one of our team members from a California branch requested support from the foundation to relocate. The team member was able to get the help she needed to get away from the abusive partner and move herself and her children to a safe location.

We Need Your Support

Together, with your help, we can make a positive difference in the lives of our team members. Thank you for considering ongoing support.
